The Property Cell of Mumbai Police which is probing a case involving businessman Raj Kundra, who is also husband to actor Shilpa Shetty will now probe into payments made to Kenrirn Limited, a UK-based company owned by Shetty's brothers. As per reports, this probe is related to a case that was filed a couple of days back at the Malwani Police station against three producers from Kundra’s company and actress Gehana Vasisth. Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra penned down his life experiences in his autobiography 'The Stranger In The Mirror' which is co-written by Reeta Ramamurthy Gupta. In the book, he revealed that Daniel Craig had auditioned for the role of James McKinley in Rang De Basanti. But when he was approached for the role of James Bond at the same time, he requested some time. In the book, Mehra recalled how producers David Reid and Adam Bowling were instrumental in the casting of Alice Patten and Steven Mackintosh as Sue and James McKinley. Mumbai Crime Branch seizes Raj Kundra's bank accounts in Kanpur

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband, Raj Kundra, was arrested by Mumbai Police on July 19 night. It was in relation to allegedly creating pornographic films and publishing them through mobile applications. Since then, Kundra has been in judicial custody and on July 27, Bombay High Court will hear his plea. In relation to the pornography racket case, according to the reports, Mumbai Crime Branch has directed the State Bank Of India to seize two accounts of Raj Kundra at Kanpur. SBI Officials told the tabloids that as many as crores of rupees have been deposited in the bank. After the seizing of the bank accounts, another news came to light in relation to Arvind Srivastava who was allegedly running the production company of Raj Kundra. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch arrested Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj Kundra on July 19 in a pornography-related case. He is currently in police custody with the police investigating all the leads. Reportedly, on Saturday, an employee of Kundra's Viaan Industries informed the police about a mysterious cupboard well concealed into the wall of Kundra's office. Following the information, a fresh raid was conducted. The police found the said cupboard and some boxes which are now in their custody. Reportedly, the revelation came up when the police were questioning employees of Viaan Industries. According to reports, the recovered boxes contain files related to financial exchanges and mainly related to cryptocurrency. In their earlier raids, the Police did not discover the cupboard as it was well concealed into a wall and Kundra never disclosed about the same. Actor Shilpa Shetty's statement has been recorded in the pornography case in which her businessman husband Raj Kundra has been arrested. Reportedly, the police are investigating whether Shetty had any role in her husband's alleged links to pornographic film business. The police also conducted a raid on the couple’s Juhu residence on Friday. Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 and is currently under police custody. He runs a company called Viaan and makes financial transactions from his company to a UK-based firm called Kernin, which is owned by his relative Pradeep Bakshi. The police are going through the statement of Kundra's bank accounts and transactions between Viaan industries and Kernin. When Kundra was produced in the court on Friday, July 23, the police reportedly said that they want to investigate Kundra's accounts in United Bank of Africa and Yes Bank. The police suspect that the money earned through pornographic content was being used for online betting.
