On Monday, Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate(ED) in Delhi as a witness in a Rs. 200 crore money laundering case. Reportedly, the actress was a victim of the same racket. Reportedly, the sources in the ED said that the actor fell on the radar of Sukesh Chandrashekar, through his partner Leena Paul. Chandrashekar is the alleged mastermind of the racket. Fernandez is being examined as a witness in the money laundering case and is not an accused, clarified the source. The actress in her statement recorded over five hours shared crucial details. Reports further state that a top Bollywood actor was targeted by Sukesh and said that the name of the actor is being kept under wraps for security reasons. "Sukesh Chandrasekhar is the mastermind of this fraud. He has multiple FIRs against him and is presently lodged at the Rohini jail," the Enforcement Directorate said in the statement last week. NCB presses serious charges against actor Armaan Kohli in drug case

Actor Armaan Kohli was arrested on Sunday, August 29 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for illegal possession of drugs. A day before, on Saturday, the actor's residence was raided after which on the same evening he was taken to the NCB office for questioning. Reportedly, he is facing some serious charges. As per reports, Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede of NCB said that several charges have been levelled against Kohli apart from the consumption of drugs. He said that Kohli will be produced in court on Monday, August 30. Armaan Kohli was also arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. The NCB started conducting raids and questioning members of the film industry since the latter half of 2020. Back in May 2020, it was announced that John Abraham had acquired the Hindi remake rights of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The film originally starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead roles. The announcement was made on May 26, 2020. The Hindi remake will be produced by John’s production house JA Entertainment. Soon after it was reported that Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to star alongside John Abraham in this remake, marking the Dostana duo's reunion. The complaint has been filed in an Indore court for allegedly posting a derogatory tweet against Bajpayee under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation). According to the reports, Bajpayee's lawyer Paresh S Joshi has urged the court to register a criminal defamation case in the matter. Following much delay amid pandemic and cast change, it seems like the Vikram Vedha remake is falling into place.  Actors Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, who are set to reprise the roles of R Madhan and Vijay Sethupathi, will reportedly begin shooting in October 2021 in Serbia. According to a report in a daily, the team of Vikram Vedha remake along with the lead actors will head to Serbia for the majority of the shoot followed by a schedule in Georgia. The plan is to film the action sequences in foreign locales before returning to India to shoot dramatic portions. It is a noir thriller starring Vikram, a pragmatic policeman, and his partner Simon who are on the hunt to capture Vedha. When Vedha voluntarily surrenders, he offers to tell Vikram a story, throwing Vikram's life into disarray. Apart from Hrithik and Saif, Radhika Apte will play Khan's lawyer wife in the remake. Bollywood Hungama earlier exclusively reported that the release date has also been fixed. A source
