Remember the long-forgotten Armor Wars? It's finally happening with Don Cheadle returning as War Machine. D23 Expo 2022 is in full swing at Anaheim in California. At the Walt Disney Studios - Lucasfilm & Marvel Studios Presentation at D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to share a series of announcements in the multiverse saga following the splurge of announcements at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Kevin Feige took the stage to make the official announcement of Armor Wars on Saturday.
A brand new logo was unveiled at the D23 Expo 2022. As per Marvel, the logline reads, "What happens if Tony Stark’s tech falls into the wrong hands?" As Cheadle returns as Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes aka War Machine, the series will follow directly on from Secret Invasion in which Cheadle is set to reprise the role as well alongside Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury.
Armor Wars will stream on Disney+ Hotstar and will feature six episodes. It is expected to begin production next year.
